Hello to everybody! Happy fathers day! I am very pleased to have discovered this site and began my 30 days as of Friday the 15th.

Thanks everybody! I am having trouble figuring out how to upload a picture. Ill try from home.

I am finding that I have trouble getting a good shave by doing it everyday. I like it razor smooth though and hate the Velcro feeling. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the SBG.

As times goes on, you will get better. Not only that, but after a month or so your scalp does toughen up.

Been sly now for nearly 5 months. And only recently have completely got the hang off a smooth shave that lasts all day. Have patience and you will get there, too.

Welcome Ron ... Day 18 here and I discovered that using pre-shave oil makes a big difference for me to get that smooth skin feel.

Like Dave wrote, pre-shave oil may help. I use Shave Secret (learned about it here) - I put a drop on the razor (another tip learned here) and massage five drops into my scalp. Everything flows easily.

Today was Day #31 for me and the change from Day #1 is remarkable. My scalp has 'matured' and I've learned the various maneuvers to getting a super close shave without injury. LOL.
