Hi Guys,

I just joined the Sly Guys this past week.  I was using clippers with no guard for a little longer than a year.  Last weekend I started using a headblade and headslick.  It seems to be going well.  I'm going to read through the new guys section but I just wanted to introduce myself.

Welcome, Joe.

there are quite a few Head Blade users on here (including me).  Some really like it. Some try it and give up.  Certainly worth a try. take it easy at first. there is a learning curve on the HB.  But I've used it nearly daily for four months. Look forward to the head shave every morning.  BBC here.

Hey Joe, Welcome aboard. I'm a HB user also. Started out with a Gillette triple and picked up a HB Sport and love it. Great advice to take it slow until you get used to it. Good Luck O0

Hi Guys,

I'm getting a few red bumps after I shave each day.  Do you have any tips?  I shave one time wtg then re lube and go atg.

Search this site for 'red bumps' including the quotes.  You'll find quite a few threads that discuss this.

Thank you for directing me to the correct section for red bumps.  Today's shave went much begetter.  This site sure had some great information.  I was starting to feel as though I was the only guy who ever had questions about head shaving.  Sly guys
