I work in one of the Central Florida theme parks, in a variety of locations and schedules.
Today I was working a station near the exit of a log flume (which has some thrilling moments) which I have not worked at since I began thinking of the change to sly or noticing guys' heads.
Thus, today was a new experience and what struck me most of all was:
- The smiles and laughter which seemed more evident from the sly guys who just walked off as if their hair didn't matter (which it didn't), and
- The looks of panic among the guys who stopped at the mirror to see if their hair was still in place - particularly the comb-over crowd.
Which made me contemplate how much easier and perhaps more fulfilling life is being sly. Many fewer worries about insignificant things.
Although it was a busy day (this being summer season) my particular location wasn't, so for entertainment I counted the number of sly guys I observed during my shift ... 408. That's a lot of bald domes. And of the 408 there wasn't a single case where I thought, "Gee, he would look better with hair" or "His head really isn't suited to sly."
Sly works universally.

exactly! no more worrying whatsoever..... i can't put into words how much of a relief that is for me... i've stressed about balding for almost 3 years. it's only thanks to this forum that i've liberated myself and started living... and yeah I suddenly seem to have a bias towards sly guys haha :)

We all have that bias Accepted :)

Yes, we do haha!
That is quite an interesting observation FG, I probably see a handful of sly guys most days too and I am yet to see a guy that didn't suit the look!

Interesting read FG. Thanks.

Interesting. I will say for myself, my self esteem has greatly improved since going sly.
