So every since i've had the new do, i've had this jones to buy something for myself. So i decided the best way to accessories was with a new pair of shades. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
Settled on Oakley Gascan's however im thinking of selling them to a friend and picking up the Five Squared.
Slightly expensive but IMO nothing shows off the new dome like a nice new pair of shades. Plus since i work in LE, i have a discount thru Oakleys US Standard issue which is really nice.
Anyone else do anything crazy or by some accessories for their dome when they first went sly?

(Just kidding -- I bought the car 4 years after going sly)

I started collecting Starter Fitted Caps (and shirts and shorts) after going sly...Most of the caps, save for about two, I've had monogrammed....Works well for fashion as well as protection from the sun (I have an older one about three years old that I use when working outdoors).

totally with you in the shades.

Shades.

Shades- Oakley Flak Jacket my buddy got for me through usstandardissue. They're matte black, which i'm not sure you can get except through Oakley Military/Law Enforcement. Significantly cheaper than retail.

Since you're in LE you have to make off-duty court appearances. I highly recommend a black double breasted (or single depending on your preference) sport jacket to be worn with a black banded collar shirt. Jury members see that get-up and they tend to equate it with honesty and sincerity because it makes you look like a man o' the cloth.
I used to call that outfit "my integrity suit" and it always worked. :popo
P. S.: It also works well out on the town.

Thinkin' about a Harley-Davidson do-rag.

The sun is starting to shine in SA, so thought a new pair of Oakleys was warranted...

I have Oakley Fuel Cells I love them. I'm going to start a new thread 'show us your sunglasses' so please post that photo balddoc!

I just bought a pair of Wiley X Revolver sunglasses. A bit pricey (for me) but they are well worth the cost.

Wiseguy...LOL...When I took up flying a couple of flyers I knew used to wear them. I think their names were Orville and Wibur or something like that.

Ain't nothing much hotter than wearing aviators with a flight jacket, right Tom?

I'm slipping...how could I forget the scarf. Didn't the WW1 ace, von Richthofen wear a red scarf?

I think after he got machine gunned by that other guy it definitely was a lovely shade of red.

Sheesh! They haven't been around all that long ...
Ray-Ban is an American brand of sunglasses founded in 1937 by Bausch & Lomb. They were introduced for the United States Army Air Corps.

I have always liked them. I think it's great how they've come back around again. O0

Hats for sun-protection and cool weather...and a little vanity, trying to look cool in my Kangol hats like Samuel L. Jackson-I wear them reversed like he does!
Mike, do you buy your Do-Rags at the Harley shops?

I buy some at the Harley shops but they are pricey and I'm not a guy that has to have the word "Harley" on everything I wear when I ride. I buy a lot of them at Biker events. I also get a few as gifts.

Those Kangol caps look very cool, especially on BBCs.
