Just wanted to drop a quick note and say hello to everyone. I have been lurking on the boards for a couple of weeks after I decided to shave it all off yet AGAIN. I have had a roller coaster ride with the shaved vs. the super low cut for over 5 years but committed to the sly look again. I plan to stick to it this time. Previously, I went back to the super close cut because of the daily maintenance and persistent shadow (I'm 95% full head of hair; front line is starting to go though) but after realizing that I keep coming back to it and admire a nice sly head of anyone I see, I felt it was time to re-commit!!
Best...

Good decision. You look good bald. It's easy to care for. Just takes a few minutes to restore the smooth shine each morning. Ah. Feels good.

Thank you all for the warm welcomes. Went out with my wife tonight at our local favorite bar and at least five guys were sly along with me. Felt great.

Thanks all. Day 7 and I actually timed my shave today just to see how long it takes me. 6mins 35 secs flat from start to finish. I would say worth the time commitment daily.

That's impressive. I'm day 14 and nowhere near that ... but my overall routine with head shaving isn't taking any longer than shampooing / toweling / combing / etc.

Indeed. That's a nice time. I'm almost at the 5 year mark of consistently shaving clean, and I doubt I've ever done it that quickly. I'm almost never in a hurry when it comes to shaving, though. I relish the feeling of removing stubble from my noggin. 8)
