AKA ACV
Now I've read the many many benefits of ACV( I buy the bragg's brand which is organic )
anyway apparently people use it on their hair for a nice healthy shine
I'm excited to try it but before I do would like to know if anybody has had experience using this?
-
You're asking what product people use on their hair in a forum for guys with shaved heads?
Me, I use apple cider vinegar when making jams and jellies.
-
The biggest benefit I've heard of from using Apple Cider Vinegar is for arthritis. But you have to use the vinegar with "The Mother" in it to truly get all the benefits.

I used vinegar (diluted with water, 50-50) to kill the yeast associated with sebhorreic dermatitis, prior to my going sly. It was effective.
However, since I now shave my head, I have no need for it....other than as a condiment or cooking.

I can understand the process where the acid of the vinegar could remove the soap residue and leave the hair shiny--but since there's no hair, or shouldn't be, why? :/O

thanks for the replies slys
obviously us baldheaders r always looking for a new product to get a lil slyer and what not
judging from the comments i dont need to use it which is ok i figured it might have some advantages on a baldhead considering people use it for regular hair i mean r u saying u dont use shampoo cause u have no hair? i grow some stubb back so i am bald with a little bit of grubble and i have been using noxema, apricot scrub (both things i learned from this forum) also bought the shave secret which im gonna use maybe tomorrow...so I was just simply trying to give back some knowledge I came across.

Of what use would shampoo be on no hair? ???
I do use it on my face fur.

I mix 2 Tbsp organic vinegar with 1 Tbsp organic honey in a glass of water each morning - wards off a variety of bad things including joint inflammation (arthritis).
-
I have been encouraged to put a little bit into some water and drink it to help control my blood pressure but since I cannot get past the smell I haven't been able to do so :XX

Frontier Guy is on to it, raspberry vinegar is meant to be excellent as well. I make cider so maybe I'll try making some good quality vinegar. And I'm with you Bear, I always use it for preserving.

There used to be a craze for cider vinegar and Honey and a company over hear used to market it under the name Honegar . Honey I know is good for skin and a whole host of things including hangovers . I am not sure excessive acetic acid in the bloodstream ? Might well be good for skin also
