Title: Like Father; Like Son
Post by: mrzed on May 22, 2012, 06:16:54 AM
For those of you with younger sons, do you encourage him to shave his head too? Like Father, Like son?

Some of you have mentioned that your adult sons shave their heads, but don't often see a younger son with a shaved head.

My middle daughter (25) recently said, "If I ever have a boyfriend and get married, don't you ever encourage him to shave his head!  I like hair on my men."  Then I joked, "He will probably have male pattern baldness and I won't have to encourage him to shave his head! Nature will do it for him!"

I like it when you see a family picture and all the men have bald heads!  Just looks sharp.

I'm 23 and Dad sported the look when I was younger!

Trying to convince him to do it again, would make for an awesome family pic!

My 27 year old son has hair so thick he can barely get a comb thru it. No MPB for him..... he obviously takes after his Maternal Grandfather.

My 23 year old son (a LEO) keeps a really tight no-guard buzz at all times.

I'd shave my daughters head, but I don't think my wife would be keen >:D

LOL. Not likely that I'll get my daughters to shave their heads. I would not want that anyway.  MEN look great with shaved heads. It's a guy thing.

In my original post, I was just curious if there were fathers and young sons who both shaved their heads.  I don't see that too often.  Occasionally a young son with a tight buzz cut. But I guess the young boy is not likely to shave his own head, and I really can't imagine shaving a sons head each day or two for him.  Teen, he could do that himself.

Don't have any kids (still too early, I'll think about it when I'm 30 or so  ;)). Until then, I'll just try to convince my brother to shave his head.

Like father  - like son - -

When we are out together it is very hard to tell  - -but then we both wear glasses.

Dan sports a "horseshoe" and keeps after me to let mine grow - -and I keep asking him to shave it all.

Shave it all.  Why be bald if you can't be totally bald!

Nice picture.  If I had a son, I'd like a picture like that.
