Hi, 1st off - I'm new here, signed up today, cool site.
I'm new to shaving my head, being doing it for a few weeks now, (about a month I'd say) and my question is: how do you get your head totally clean? - the outline around the ears and the back of my neck always return about 30 mins after shaving.
I mean head TOTALLY clean like Steve Austin or Goldberg, so there's absolutley nothing.
I use gel, and gilette fusion proglide razor, I'm British from the UK, I'm not American, and we dont have that little yellow toy car razor gadget thingy over here (that headblade car thing)....... many thanks.

Well, it's the same as the directions to get to Carnegie Hall--practice, practice, practice. You'll learn the direction of growth of the hair, and if you go against the grain, i.e. opposite its natural direction of growth, you'll cut at close as possible. Also for those difficult areas, a second dab of shaving gel and a second pass can work wonders.
In another few weeks you'll be smooth and doing it easily--every day is a practice day!

ok thanks saintc, I'll try that.
actually I think those yellow car head-blades are available in Britain, but not in shops, I think ebayers might have them up on auction - but you certainly cannot purchase 1 in a shop in Britain, as I've looked in every shop possible that does a shaving range.

Try something other than the HeadBlade to see if you get better results.

Talk to MrJules he lives in London and bought his headblade there I'm pretty sure.

As above you get better with time! Headblade should be available somewhere over there!
And Welcome!

Welcome to the Forum!
ARe you shaving WTG (with the grain) and then ATG (against the grain)? That's the only way to get the smoothest possible shave.

Welcome! As was said in some of the preceding posts, it takes a lot of practice to achieve the smoothness that we all want..It's gonna take time...and some experimenting. Product A may work for person 1, but not necessarily person 2, person 2 may need product B, C, etc. Keep us posted and good luck!
