Almost 30 days sly.  This forum has literally saved me.  I was concerned about how I could possibly go walking around sly.  I didn't know what my wife or parents would think.  What was worse is I think they thought my thinning hair that was growing unevenly, was sad.  I've tried all of the OTC stuff: Rogaine, hair thickening shampoo and conditioner, etc.  Due to the advice on this form i know prep before the shore with Headshef exfoliator,  Headslick glossy, and Aloe Vera gel.  Thank you everyone for getting me started and well on my way to being a confident, assured sly guy.  I posted this avatar pic today after a particularly good shave.

You're looking good  O0 Always a great feeling after a really good shave. Something I endeavour to achieve every day. I always finish with Aloe Vera gel. Smooth shiny head - the right way to start the day!

I like your story, Boxer.

Good for sticking out the 30 days.  My 30 days was an 'internal' celebration day for me.  No party and such, but just making it.  Now I'm almost 3 months ... maybe it is three months. Well, it is.  Jan 19 through April 19th. 

I'm BBC, so there was probably more flack from family. Why would you shave your head. You have all that hair.  If it were thinning we'd understand, but it's not. 

I alternate between aloe vera gel and glossy head blade cream. Yes, an especially smooth shave is something very satisfying. 

Welcome.  Your extremely bald head looks excellent. Show it off with a smile.

The sly look suits you very well.  Glad we could help you with the transition.  Within a short time, others adjust to your new appearance and sly becomes completely normal for you too.

Thanks everyoe for the positive feedback and support!  I'm quite sure I wouldn't' have been able to do ths without the knowledge, support, and feedback of all this forum's knowledgeable membership. Now if I could just stop buying stuff to shave with I might actually save money being a super sly guy.
