Hello Sly Bald Guys; great community you have here.
I have a small head; this is a reality. People manage to comment sometimes; doesn't do wonders to my self esteem.
I also have mpb; it is pretty aggressive. I'm losing my hair rather fast, and am only 20 years old.
I've tried buzzing my head before; it looks alright. Best from the front, but I feel my side profile is ridiculous.
Pictures best describe what I'm talking about; wondering if I could get your opinions. I would love your input; and please be honest! Shoot me straight.
Concerned about my profile /head shape. The above pictures best exemplify my worries.
Also, and I have rather thick eyebrows.
Any input appreciated, thanks for your time SBG.
All the best,
clandestine.

Buzzed looks good - but I know you can carry off sly - give it a try = it lasts 1 week if you dont like it
-
your head shape is totally fine and normal dude! I think thick eyebrows go well with sly
-
Shave it!!! You will look just fine - enjoy the freedom of sly. 8)
-
I agree with R3CAPT , you facial looks will enhance your sly bald head
-
Dude... I'm not seeing what you're seeing. You look fine to me. You do have MPB and a shave should be considered in the future. If you don't like your eyebrows, you could always thin them out.
Quit worrying and enjoy life!

Look at my eyebrows, and the Captain's above, bold brows and bald go great.
-
Looks fine to me. Welcome to the forum.

I think I have a small head, similar shape to yours and it doesn't stop me buzzing it down (soon I'll be sly...just building up the courage)
Dark features look great with the sly/buzzed/shave look.
You're a good lookin' fella, go for it, shave it, you'll feel better.

I hope you don't call those who say that "friends". looks normal to me, go ahead and shave it off. Eventually, get some new friends.

I think this is the first time I've ever heard anyone express a concern that his head was too small to be shaved. Usually people complain that their heads are too large -- which just goes to show that we can always find some perceived cosmetic flaw that we can use as an excuse not to shave. There's nothing wrong with the size or shape of your head. The prospect of shaving it is scary; you're going to look different than you have in the past and that can be a bit unsettling. But if you can manage to just take the bull by the horns and do the deed, you will instantly feel a lot better. Try to do it sooner rather than later, because you will only continue to obsess over it until it's done.

Your mpb hasn't progressed that far. But, if you want to get ahead of this issue, and since you're measuring how far it's receded that's probably a pretty good idea to put this issue behind you, shave it, clean to the bone. Live with it for 30 days, then you can go back to the early stage of mpb, or continue to shave and hide the whole process in plain sight. There's too much living to do at your age to let something as trivial as hair loss to get in your way. Shave it--today.

I'll just echo what the other's have already said: there's absolutely nothing wrong with your head.
-
buzz it super short and take it from there. Nothing wrong with your head.

The best thing you can do is shave it bald. You have a good head for this. You can see it in these pictures. You'll wonder why you waited so long. Shaving your head is freeing, and it looks good.
Go for it.

Welcome and good luck with what you decide.

Welcome. I suggest that you shave the dome and see if you like. Never know, if you don't give it a try.

I think this is a huge misconception on your part. You head is not too small, you have a great shaped head. You are also a very handsome young man. You should shave it. It will really boost your confidence (it did mine) then you won't have to worry about what people think of your receding hair line. Keep us posted.
Good Luck

Wise words. The moment you shave sly is the moment you stop worrying.

Wellthey are wise words also Jules , I am sure Buddhist Bhikkus , find it liberating as well , it is sort of religious even if you dont believe in anything , and def. ritualistic .
Warm sunshine , nicely dressed walking down the road with a shining dome is everything you have said

Looking at your pictures, I say that your head is proportional to your body. You will look more handsome if and when you decide to shave it smooth.
