I really like a nice shine and have been happy with HeadLube shiny. However sometimes I really want to show off and get it as shiny as it can be. Anyone have a routine that gets your head the shiniest it can be? Thanks for your advice

Cold water immediately after shaving followed by you're favorite shine product.

I mentioned Afta skin conditioner in another post. It does an outstanding job making me shine, and for about 2 bucks, it's worth a try.

I like the Headslick products but for me I have found that any sunblocks or sunscreens make my head look like a mirror. It might be the zinc oxide or something in them. I'm a cop and I use sun block everyday and that Bullfrog brand spray-on anti sweat sweat/swim block is great. Citizens ask me if I put a coat of wax on my head and take a buffer to it! LOL

I second the cold water rinse.....the colder the better.
The other day I forgot to put on aftershave of any kind and my noggin was pretty dang shiny anyway.

I get people asking me if I wax my head too, although I still have no idea if they mean wax the hair out of shine it...could be both. The trick i use for the shinyness is to wash my head in a salicylic acid soap (most of the acne soaps have salicylic acid, which also keeps razor bumps from happening). My head glows even with a couple of days worth of stubble

cold water rinse and aloe vera straight outta the fridge. if needed later i will go for a BALD GUYZ head wipe and more aloe vera. ^-^

Have to agree with Tyler: after you are done with the razor rinse your head
first with warm water, then with running cold water rubbing the whole scalp
(with your head under the faucet).
Then pat dry with a towel...
When it dries it will shine like mirror!

add a little aloe vera from the fridge and it will get the attention of planes flying over. 8)

hell that was late in the day. i needed to shave and my scalp was all funky from being in the yard. but thanks >:D

I'm finding, since the weather has been absolutely perfect in the Chi-town area and the top has been off my jeep for days, that I'm getting some serious shine using the BaldGuyz Moisturizer and topping it off with HeadShade is giving off a blinding shine!

Went for a swim today(my first swim since going SLY) and got a lot of comments on my shiny dome after applying sunblock and jumping in! I may have to switch to glossy HeadLube after all!?!?
