Well im in the aur force and deployed. Just before i left me and wife were joking around about me shaving my head to make haircuts easier while im here. So i did it! I actually really like it and my wife does too.
So ive been shaving it for about two weeks now. I shave every other day with a mach 3 and yes the pink can of skintament (sp) shaving gel. Works for me haha.
Now i need find me a good moisterizer for after ive shaved. Goods are limited over here in the desert so ill be ordering online most likly. Just need some advice on what to look for.
Whats funny is that eve since i did it, i have all the guys in the shop asking me about it and how i do it and if i like it. All the interest in it makes me laugh now that ive done it.
I also got me some sunblock for it being as i work in the sun without the option of being able to cover it with a hat. Haha

Welcome to the site. There are lots of good tips and suggestions offered here at SBG. I'm new to shaving my head. I agree with you. I like it. Wife is still deciding, but it has not been 30 days yet. You are about 1 week ahead of me.
I appreciate your comment about the rest of the guys talking about and considering shaving too. Don't know that I've had anyone follow my suit, but that may come.

Nivea makes great after shave balms.
Nivea Extreme After Shave Balm and the new Nivea Cool Kick Arctic Freeze 2 in 1 are both great. The Extreme has almost no scent, just slightly "fresh" smelling. The Cool Kick has a very nice masculine scent. Recent use, by me,of this new product indicates that the ladies like this scent. Both products are mositurizers but have no sun blocking capabilities.

Welcome CrazyD...I agree that the Nivea is good stuff. Maybe try some Aloe Vera. But don't forget the sunscreen, ya hear!

CrazyD, You look great sly. But it feels good in the hot sun over there. Thanks for your service. Be sure to use plenty of sun screen on your head. Headblade and bald guyz also have moisturizers you can use. THeir web sites are headblade.com and baldgyuz.com. I do know that headblade has a banner on the sly bald guys website that can link you to their web site. By clicking it you can get a 20% discount on your purchases on line. Mikekoz also made a great suggestion.
Hope that you can find some moisturizer over there. I do know that headblade does support our troops and does provide products to soldiers.

Welcome D, great to hear you're loving the smooth dome. I agree with the bro's on getting a good moisturizer, the suggestions were right on. Definitely get a good sunblock as well, for that hot desert sun.
