Today is day 7. Shaved head each morning for a week. Wow, I really like this. Getting good comments from friends and work.
And here are the photos of the yellow tie that's generating lots of comments. 12 a week ago and 8 today. I guess people like it.
I don't normally get that many unsolicited comments about my tie.

I'm guessing it might have gone on clearance in another week or so. ;)

I keep waiting for that tie to start spinning.

Funny. A South African guy at lunch yesterday said the same thing. I like you tie. I just want to reach out and spin it and see how long it will take to stop!
Puts a smile on my face. (so does the bald head! I'm lovin' it).

Is it a clip on or did you tie it yourself...the tie that is?
-
I've been chipping you about going sly and I can now say it really suits you. Awesome.
Not being a bow tie person I prefer no ties.
Keep up the slyness.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! (I'm laughing). Clip on bow ties are for little boys and for softies that don't want to learn the simple task of tying your own. All of my bow ties are 'tie your own'.

This guy in Columbia SC teaches you how. One of the BEST video's of how to tie your own Bow Tie.

You and a dozen other bald guys have been chipping at me (not all on this site). Some personal friends.
After a week of bald ... I'm getting steady good comments from co-workers that they like the look. I'm very pleased.
Had lunch yesterday with a 72 year old guy (not bald). I had to mention that I shaved my head. He had not noticed! He know that I had been keeping my hair short, but just did not really look that close to notice that it was shaved bald!
Wife is still out of town. I'm sending her pictures from time to time. She said to my daughter last night, "I think this is going to last a long time and I'm going to have to get used to it." (They were talking that I had bought aloe vera gel and witch hazel and this and that to assist with shaving ... man, he must be serious about this ... ).

Damum, one thing for certain and two things for sure I am impressed!

Day 8 of 30. So it's my first complete week.
Routine is getting slicker with HeadBlade a definite bonus - I recommend it. Razor burns disappearing - thanks for the witch hazel tip.
And the other night, pal of old said to me "I wish I had that confidence". How about that ?
Now when does novelty wear off ? O0

Bold statement. I like that.

I think I'm still in the novelty stage. Don't know. I feel like it's becoming the new me and I"m not tired of it at all.

"I'm still in the novelty stage. Don't know. I feel like it's becoming the new me and I"m not tired of it at all."
Think you are right - the novelty will continue.
Came across a picture of me with hair from last year - looks like I've got a grey rug on my head (should be attached). But I'll let others decide.
Occasionally, I do think this is a crazy thing to do. But I'm carrying on.

The novelty fades but the good feeling of liberation, confidence and being clean sticks around for years.

Sly is a huge improvement for you.

Jules, the bald head makes you look younger!
-
bald looks great on you mrzed and jules... Keep it up. Good day ahead brods O0

Thanks for the words of encouragement here. Had a few people say I look younger than my 45 years. Several others reckon I've lost weight, too.
Only wanted to shave my head for a few days, just to see. And here I am, 16 days later and ready to go the distance.
Oh and Mr Zed, please keep the look now. O0
