It didn't take me long to make the decision after reading just about the whole forum here.   I bought a new razor and accessories yesterday and today I clippered it down to next-to-nothing.  I need to let it settle in and have the scalp relax a bit before blading but that's next.   The clippers were actually getting a bit hot so I decided to let it ride for today (ignoring the fact that I found the pimple on the back of my head that I forgot about).

Bad photo taken right after the putting down the clippers and slamming my knee on the cabinet door.  I'm quite a bit happier about it than it looks.

Welcome--looking good O0.  Take your time, relax, enjoy the sensation of freeing yourself from the tryanny of a balding head.  You are going to really like the feel of a freshly peeled peach! Hot shower, maybe leave some hair conditioner on the scalp, even wrap the melon with a steaming hot towel.  Fresh blade, take it slow--you're almost there.
