I remember him shaving his head for a movie a few years ago, its about dragons, I cant remember the title for now. He looks so much better shaved.

That's cool, but leave the cap in your pick-up. Guys with ball caps are just like squirrels, the woods is full of them.

I think he's wearing the caps and beanies to hide hair transplant scars.  It's no secret that his hair was pretty thin in the 90s and then all of a sudden he showed up with this thick mane of blonde curls.  If he had to shave the mop off for a role and he did get a transplant then he probably has scars.  The scars can be hidden with make-up when he's shooting a movie but that can be a pain the butt to do on a day-to-day basis.
