Title: Bald By Choice in Texas

Hey Sly Guys,

I am Aaron from Dallas, Texas, but I am soon moving to San Diego, California.  I have been a sly guy for 1 month now.  I have had short military haircuts for the past 13 years, but I decided to take the plunge recently and join the ranks of the sly guys.  I am 31 years old and have a full head of hair.  Of course my parents (former hippies) don't understand why I would want to shave ALL my hair off.  I love it.  I love being shaved slick n smooth everyday.  Like many of your have said, it is a liberating experience.  I have always been a very confident person, but I do feel that my confidence has been elevated even more. 

I am so glad I found this website, and this group of guys. I look forward to getting to know you all.

He Aaron,
Like you parents,  I used to be hippie, too. It was all about being "different" (maybe even a bit rebelious). So, in that sense, your parents should understand.

I find it quite hilarious, though. In those days, I couldn't get my hair long enough and now I can't get it short enough :-)
