Hey guys,
I've decided to go sly next week when I've grown some beardage back, but at the moment my scalp is really dry (I've got a #1 buzz) and so I've been rubbing some moisturiser in through my hair, it seems to be helping, but do any of you have a better idea? And am I doing the right thing by moisturising my dome lots before my first clean head shave?

hey and welcome
it's easy:
all you have to do it's to shave it off.
nothing more.
it's not a complicated process or so :)

Good luck on the first shave. Be sure to run warm water on your head before shaving, it will open your pores for an easier and smoother shave. I know you will enjoy it. Best regards.

There's really nothing special that you need to do now, but remember to prep your scalp well when you do decide to shave. Get yourself a good cream or gel, a fresh blade and take your time. It will be fine. O0

I agree...just buzz it close, wash it good with hot water, put in a new blade and apply the gel/soap and feel the liberating steel glide. Best of luck.
