I will be in Memphis October 7th-9th for a free enterprise celebration...if anyone is in the area.

Beginning at Neely's BBQ that Friday evening. `dr**l

Sounds good to me but unfortunately I'll be 5,000 miles away eating shoe leather and watching one of five tv channels.

I lived in Memphis many years ago and we ate at many great local BBQ joints and the music on Beale Street is the best. Have fun when you can take a break...

I'm looking forward to it...Memphis has been featured on some food shows.

A little trivia..the BB in BB King stands for Beale street Boy.

Hummmm, I think it stands for, "Blues Boy"....I could be wrong.

Looks like we are both right. He was known as the Beale Street Blues Boy and it was shortened to B.B.

Concentrated on business growth...but had a lot of fun there.

I betcha took time for some that good Memphis BBQ...I'm trying to remember the name of the hotel that has the duck parade. You know?

Naw...but plan to go back someday soon.

Right now I'm concentrating on a trip to Cincinnati in January.  Probably go back to Memphis in the spring or summer.
