Why would someone who shaves their head buy a baseball cap with fake hair stuck to it?

Why doesnt this ^ company just have a website saying: here's a great way to save money! Dont buy our razor blades, dont shave your head, then you wont need to buy the cap with a rug on top!

I can (kind of) understand someone wearing a toupee (wig) if thats really what they need to do, but that baseball cap looks like it has Tina Turner's scalp glued to the top of it :o
I guess its hard for me to understand that hat, because I like the bald look too much (as I know the majority of us do). My head is so shiny tonight, the glare can be seen from Uranus, even without a telescope, and thats exactly how I like it.
I cant imagine going into my local supermarket looking like I'm going to give an acapella rendition of Nutbush City Limits.

Big guy, I know she's not into hats, but look at my earlier comments. I said those hats look like someone had stuck her scalp onto a baseball cap (or words to that effect). She has (or had) pretty big hair (even if it was a wig), and the rug on those caps looks like Tina hair.

Well, it's something you'll remember for the rest of your life--and maybe you won't leave anyway. Those hats aren't about Tina Turner--but then there's so many takes on so many things during Carnival who knows, and the Chinaman, Who, doesn't talk. No one needs an invitation to the Carnival, just the nerve and "joie de vivre" to be there. In New Orleans, our children grow up thinking "Hey lady show me your tits!" is just a general form of pre-Lenten greeting >:D

How do you want that, Carpetbagger- a rib steak 2" thick with a pocket full of oysters, topped with Bernaise, or perhaps a filet with marchand du vin sauce, or well even you get the idea--our foods have layers of flavor--nothing so plain as a simple steak, it's a stage for a flavor party in your mouth.
And all people in New Orleans love our City--tourist board? Just walk down the street and ask for a good restaurant, bar, or party venue and we'll give you a full menu of places to eat, drink and party. Laissez les bonnes temps roulez, mon ami--toutes les temps pour toute monde.

Yeah but once you spend 406 hours taking off the 20 gallons of make up, and the NASA-designed girdle, and the super-reinforced cast iron bra, and the wig, and the Prada dress, and the glitzy earrings, you're left with something quite different.
I like Tina as a performer (very much), but once you get past the Hollywood makeover, the show is over. Same applies to Oprah.

What is it Americans find offensive - the t1tty itself or the nipple? :o Here, if they show that much t1tty (and there's no shortage of t1tty-on-display here), then they show the nipple too, but I guess it must be different over there in our former colonies :D

Well neither do I, but after that Janet Jackson incident a few years ago, when it seemed as if the entire US was going to crumble into oblivion at the site of a nipple, I assumed there must be some pretty severe anti-nipple laws over there :o
I also seem to remember a few years before that, the stage show 'The Vagina Monologues' had to change it name in (I think) Florida because someone objected to the word 'vagina', because it was apparently so offensive. I think they changed the name of the show to Hoo Hah Monologues, although I dont know what a Hoo Hah is.
I would have thought covering up a nipple or changing the name of a stage show would just draw more attention to the aforementioned nipple or vagina!

These ran several times during the Super Bowl. Guess no one really pays attention to the commercials...

The extent of the hypocrisy was evident in the language--they couldn't say Janet Jackson's breast was exposed. Not so simple, nowhere near so direct. Instead, they went into euphemism overload, they termed it, "wardrobe malfunction!" It takes longer to say it than her tit and a covered tit at that was on screen!
She had planned it--her nipple was covered with a pasty like they use on Bourbon Street for the strippers, oh I'm sorry wrong term, the exotic dancers! Dance without them, nudity and a violation of the law. With them, art ;). And this in a town where the tourist college coeds flash their boobies without any pasty to get beads from the floats during Carnival--that's generally downtown where the tourists predominate. It's family value time kids.

The term "wardrobe malfunction" was coined by Justin Timberlake ( or more likely, one of his handlers), in one of the attempts to explain away the entire inicident as an accident.

Why would it be ok to expose your entire tit but just cover up the nipple? In which way does that make tit exposure 'decent' rather than 'indecent'? Im just not getting it :D
TBH, it doesnt bother me what someone exposes. As long as it isnt done in a threatening way, then bring it on. I'm always ready for a hearty giggle. I was sitting in a park in London when I was around 20 or so, eating a Big Mac, and a guy walked up to me and showed me his meat and two veg. Another time, I was in a bar in London when a girl came up and smothered my face with her nay nay's. I cant say I was particularly upset about either incident, because I'd seen it all before (although usually in slightly more glamorous surroundings. But not always...)
I must admit though, one thing that I find a major turn off, and a major stomach churner, is to see a woman breast feeding in public. If anything is going to make me hurl my cookies, then thats probably it.

Not necessarily prostitutes, exotic dancers! I don't know that in the days of Norma's or H. Monroe's sporting houses if the workers wore pasties--that's the yellow dot ;D. Most of them that you see are sequined and often have tassels--the girls swirl the tassels as part of their exotic dance. I guess you've never learned the "other" meaning of broad or didn't make the link, "broaden your horizons".
Breast feeding in public--well it's a lot quieter than a screaming hungry baby, I don't have to look at the feeding, I have to listen to the screaming--so I'm not so sure on that one. If you've not had the pleasure of having a screaming hungry baby near you, I guess it's easy to judge.

I dont see them as uneducated trash, I just see them as women who choose to breast feed in public. I find it quite distasteful, and I hate seeing it, but in many cultures, its just the way things are done.
