Just some backround. I wore a hair system from the age of 23 for 22 years until a few weeks ago. A few times over the last couple of years I wanted to get rid of it, but did not have the courage. I couldn't believe that I was paying $280 a month for something that only looked real for a week or so, itched like crazy, required a 2 hour appointment every month, and in the end, I pretty much hated. You could say I felt trapped. Last summer I told myself this is it, I'm getting rid of it over the Christmas vacation from work. I thought of a million excuses not to do it. Over this past spring I had finally had it, and kept telling myself no more. I found this site a couple of months ago, and read stories similar to mine. It was almost as if I could have written them myself. The more I read, the more I was convinced that there was no turning back and that I will not be a prisioner to fake hair anymore. As mid August approached, I prepared myself and a few people around me. I ordered a headblade sport(which works great), told my wife(after 2 weeks of trying) of course she was thrilled, and watched videos on how to do the deed. I think the hardest part of the whole process was going back to work without hair. My friends and collegues were great about it. I still got a few why questions. I said I wanted a change, and going to Orlando in August made the decision easy. In conclusion, I have absolutely no regrets. I encourage anyone else on the fence to muster up the courage and do it.

Congratulations on your decision! Going back to work is something many of us were anxious about, but it usually ended up being a good experience. Now, just enjoy the new look and feel. It's great, isn't it?
