Hi everyone,

Just wanted to stop by and say hello. Sly is a great site and has really helped answer a lot of the questions I've had.
I'm circling the idea of buzzing down this weekend which will be a big step if I do it; wish me luck!

Sounds like you have the itch, so why not scratch it and shave down?  We've all worried about how we'll look, how others will react, etc., but those are excuses for putting it off.   Once you try it, you'll wonder why you waited.

I buzzed down to no guard this summer.  What a relief!  It feels so good.  Looks cool.  Nearly bald by choice.  Go for it.  I think that everyone whom I have talked to that has buzzed their hair, really likes it. Easy to do, and easy to keep very short. Just buzz it every few days.

Well, tomorrow,  is now today, (28/Aug  Did ya do it??? Just b coincidence, I on Maui, for a few days.   Shaved, of course.

Well I'm honest enough to admit I failed to buzz (even had the clippers in my hand kinda prodding at my head).
I'm sure you guys have heard it all before!
I bottled it right at the final moment. Main thing is I'm not put off and I see the procrastination and anxiety as a challenge to overcome and I don't feel defeated.

I think you have the right attitude to it... and I know that you will do this! It's kind of in the system now...

I put it off for ages, but when the time was right, it just happened! You'll be pleased with the results though!

Thanks for the words of encouragement; much appreciated. Still dancing around the buzz but want to do it so I'll have to 'grow a pair' sooner rather than later.
