Title: How fast does hair grow? What's your experience?

From google search .... some say 1/8 inch per month, some 1/4 per month, some 1/2 per month!  Sounds like lots of variation.

I ran the clippers last saturday, no guard. As short as it would go.  Today, a week later, while running with a #1 guard (1/8 inch). There was a little bit of trimmings ... that experience might support 1/8 per week ... 1/2 per month.  No wonder sly guys need to shave their heads daily to keep up.

The super short or bald look is excellent!  Why mess with longer hair?  Guess I'm preaching to the choir today.

I clipper shaved 11 days ago with my conair beardd trimmer, no guard, lowest #3 setting which is supposed to leave a "2 day shaved look". I'd say I had almost 1/4" growth after 11 days, so that supports the 1/8" per week.

I can't say for sure, but it's faster than I thought!  I have noticeable stubble in about 12 hours and my head is like sandpaper in the morning.

I did a calculation a few years ago and found I had 1/2 inch a month growth rate. It seems like I read some where that it's average.

0.5 inch a month is medically correct.

 I'd have to say mine is half an inch a month also. If I don't shave everyday my hair feels like it's really grown alot. In fact somedays I shave in the morn and again at night.  8)

No idea how fast my hair grows. My head has stubble each morning which is removed.  :)
(occasionally shaved in the evening, too)
