Title: Shaving: how often?

Sorry if this is a stupid question from a newbie, but how often do most people shaving? Daily? Alternate days?  I'm four days out from being fully shaved and have very little regrowth. My hair is so fair, I could probably shave weekly and still appear bald.

Not a dumb ? At all. We all shave defferently. I was blond and shave every other day BUT sometimes I can't stand the sand paper feel so I'll shave every day, or even twice a day.  Listen to all the advice but especially the 30 day rule. Welcome!!

I mostly shave every day now because I find it keeps the irritation from shaving down.  When I first stared, I had to wait about every other day until my scalp got used to it.

I'm shaving every other day or so until the irritation stops.  Very frustrating because the first time I shaved I had no irritation.  I believe the irritation started this time because I had a scab on my head that I was trying to avoid and had some weird shaving patterns on the head and so had to go over it multiple times, thus the irritation.  Now it is slow to go away.

I have been shaving my head daily for 7 months.  But I cheat; using an electric shaver.

I've been shaving daily for nearly eight weeks.  I prefer the smooth feel to the stubble, but it's really a matter of personal preference.
