Hey guys. I'm thinking of shaving my head but just wanted to hear some opinions. Currently I'm 20 and have been buzzing my hair to a guard 1 for 5 years now. Never had a big problem with acne but when I shaved my face I would tend to break out. Did have my dad shave my head when I was I think 10 years old and he used a cheap razor and barbarsol (spelling?) and it looked decent. Been buzzed pretty steady now but just havent had the nuts to go somepletely shaved. Hopefully this pic will work, as you can notice my hair is very short, just not as sly as I want to be. Yeah i was buzzing it down for years & last week went SLY,i dont know what was stopping me before.

Get it down to the shortest it will go on your clippers & go from there

Welcome to SBG TBone.  Sounds like you are on the cusp.  Go for it.  If you don't like it (I'm sure you will) grow it back and continue to buzz it.  Methinks, however, you'll be retiring those clippers once you do break out the razor.

ok aaaaaaand...

yeah got off work, went to wal mart, bought some new blades for my old manual mach 3 turbo (shave face with electric) and got some fusion shave gel and gillette shave lotion. I didn't cut my hair down any further with clippers because I didn't feel it needed it. Looking back I definitly should have. Took maybe 45 minutes and just went by feel on the back. Overall it kicks ass.

Yes I'm told I do look like Jack Black and it never gets old.

I will post pics soon but I dont have a digital camera so might be a few days. Thanks for the input fellas.

Can't wait to see what kind of ladies like it sly.

45 minutes sounds about right for the first time  :*))  It took me that long my first time, which was a little over a week ago.  It now takes about 7-8 minutes in the shower  O0  Definitely post a pic.  Welcome to the SLY side!

Glad you had the guts just to shave it all off...you wouldn't have been happy until you actually did it....

that's the thing about thoughts of going "sly"...once it's in your head, you're not complete until you DO the deed!
