Title: Hey everybody
Post by: TeenSlyGuy on June 01, 2011, 11:00:06 AM: I've been going through this site and found a lot of helpful information. Im 17 with a fully bald head and have been diagnosed with alopecia. Not that it matters at all because this new look really looks good for me. I take care of my dome and it has brought much confidence. I hope I'm not disturbing your presence at all being young and all! I enjoy lifting, hanging out, sports and all of that. Looking forward to meeting some new bald people seeing as I dont know many but myself and my dad who is partly bald (He needs to cut that thing off already!).

Post by: intex on June 01, 2011, 11:15:17 AM: welcome. Enjoy your baldness. Others are here by choice. Makes no difference. I have good friend who had alopecia around your age and lost all hair totally everywhere. He has become a very well known and respected scientist in England.

This is a disease with a genetic disposition. It is an auto immune disease.

You're wise beyond your years, TSG, way to go!. Too bad a lot of older guys don't have this same confidence. Keep up the great outlook. O0

Your one of the ones who knew what to do right out of the gate. Kudos! I was in your boat started balding at 17, 19 now and its much better than wearing a wig thats for sure.

Well Ive got very few patches left hopefully theyll go away but thanks for the welcomes everybody
