How does it look? Should i grow it out? Or take the plunge?

Why not take it to the bone for 30 days? You would appear to have early indications of mpb, but who knows. If you do sly for 30 days you'll see what life can be like without worrying about your hair. What have you got to lose?

What you have now looks good. What did you use to get to where you are at now?
Can't hurt to try it completly sly. If you don't like it after 30 days just let it grow back.

You're in a good spot - looks great buzzed down close like you've got it and will most likely look just as good completely sly.
If I were you my curiosity would get the better of me and I would go all the way. If you go for it make the commitment to keep it up for awhile - the 30 is great but if you really don't like it and give up sooner the sly police will not come after you with a bottle of nair. It can take a couple of days/week to get used to.
Just do what feels right for you. My guess is you'll love the sly. And regardless, at the time MPB takes over, you'll already have taken the initial plunge and won't have the issues to contend with again.
