Title: Big beards and bald heads

Well, as I write this, I now have about 2 1/2 months of untrimmed beard growth.  I know that we have had a couple of members that have had huge beards.  One is Coltsfan73 and the other is Tow (who has not posted in a long time!).  Anyway, I am making a trip to Alaska at the end of next month.  So I should have about 4 months growth when I arrive.  Truthfully, I would love to get it as long as Tow's and not trim it for a year or more.  But I would love to get it as long as Coltsfan's.  I'll take a current photo soon.  But I am wondering if any of you other sly guys have ever done the big beard thing?  If so, show your pictures, sly or non sly!

I tried at one point, but once my beard gets beyond a certain length, it just starts doing weird Castro-things and it is not attractive! Always bummed me out.

I'm jealous! My beard starts doing its weird things long before gets to that stage.

I would love to have a year of untrimmed growth.  But I don't know if I have the patience or if my employer will let me.  But I would love to be a Sly Santa or a Sly member of ZZ Top!   :D

Sorry to hear that.  In my case, I am employed and have public contact.  So they could tell me to trim it up!  But I know that being Sly and bearded is not a problem where I work.  But the length could be!

You ought to put together a photo album to document the progression.
