We've all run into people working various jobs that we wouldn't want to anger...
What are some of your experiences and why?
-
The person: A nurse.
The reason: Foley Catheters.
-
My dentist and his nurse. They once got into a "disagreement" which ended with my ever after referring to him as "The Old Tongue Twister". He gave me the drill once they dug it out of my tongue.

SEAL Team Six.

Professional boxer! Don't like getting my Arsh kicked!!!!

Pizza delivery person (*!z@ ...after all, they know where you live!!! >:D

EMT's.
I once arrested a guy that thought it would be fun to spit at the EMT's, then feign unconsciousness. He kind of changed his tune when the unhappy EMT cracked open about half a dozen ammonia ampoules, dropped 'em in the guys shirt, then yanked his shirt up over his head. The coughing and gagging coming from under that shirt as the Police Officer and I dragged the unwise perp to her squad car made it hard for me (and her!) not to not bust up laughing.

Flight attendants , especially long haul , iv heard tales about how if they have an AH passenger the breakfast sausage gets a wipe around the loo and back on the tray .

I wouldn't want to piss off a trucker. First of all, I am NOT a trucker. But I do drive a box truck for the carpet store I work for as part of my warehouse duties. One time I had to go to the Washington State Convention Center in Downtown Seattle. I was there to pick up some carpets from a flooring show. But I was not at all familiar with where I needed to dock. So upon getting back to my truck, a trucker in a 18 wheeler shouted at me and actually threatened me. I tried to explain but moved elsewhere and did NOT have my sly noggin pounded in. But finally the people at the flooring show let me know where I needed to be!

Never anger the people who handle your food. From cooks to servers. Anyone who has access to your food in an area where you can't see it. Be polite, friendly and remember they are servers, not servants.
-

If I'm not happy with my food in a restaurant I just set it aside, I never send it back. I try to encourage Mrs. Buddha to do the same. Ever since I saw the tv special about what kinds of things find their way into a complainer's food, particlularly certain bodily fluids, it's a no-brainer. At check-out time the waitress will almost always ask about the full plate. I'll tell her about it when I'm ready to leave and it usually gets deducted from the check. I'd rather pay for food that I don't eat than send it back only to have it return with a dollop of the chef's secret sauce mixed in.
So never pi$$ off the chef!

One experience years ago at port solent pompey , guest at a restaurant of a guy and 4 others , i had prawn salad , prawns def off , cud not eat them sent em back , i had an enormous helping of prawns that i cud barly eat . In berlin kosher place , i like kosher food but dont av a kosher kitchen chicken was blood red , well it aint kosher and a good chance of salmonella returned and it ws ok . Dont be afraid to complain but. Be polite and professional your paying for it after all

I agree. That's just common sense. I wonder why so many people just ask for trouble and are surprised when they get it.
-
A few of my friends are restaurant wait staff, and I appreciate their service because they have complained to me how mean customers can get sometimes.
ALSO: Don't upset the medical profession because you might come home missing a body part or teeth.
NEVER: Upset the barber. One day I complained he cut the top too short and next thing you know I ended up with permanent Male Pattern Baldness :D
-
Anyone working in the food service industry or law enforcement, for obvious reasons.
-
Law enforcement, they spend their days having abuse hurled at them, there's no reason to add to that!
-
IRS Agent.
-
NFL Commissioner!
-
I would say your barber ...... little to much complaining can lead to a little to much cutting - I know for us not a concern but still. :)

Any type of IT tech or repairman, believe me, they have ways of messing with your electronics that you wouldn't believe
