It seems with each passing year that my hairline gets even worse.

I thought I'd remedied that back in the spring of 2009.  But since then, off and on, I've shaved my head.  I feel confident with the look, I like the look, but I still feel this self-consciousness.  So my question asked in vain to all of you is, of course: Do I look okay bald?

Yes, you look just fine bald. I think the on-and-off thing you're doing is impeding your confidence, though.  I was the same way.  I went back and forth for the better part of two years before I finally forced myself to stay bald for 30 days.  I didn't feel completely confident after the 30 days were up, but I was a lot better than I'd been before.  When the 30 days ended, I told myself that if I'd made it through those 30 days, I could do it for another 90 days.  It's been almost seven years now and I haven't had any hair on my head since then, except for a few times when I was sick.  Even then, I've never gone more than a week without shaving.

Here's what I said verbatim in another thread just recently....Do what makes you feel good about yourself and everything will fall in place and take the right course.

If you feel good and confident with the look then don't ask.

you look more them okay!

You look really good and have strong facial features that don't need distraction from hair. ;-)

Well said Razor. I felt alot the same way. Confidence for me came with time. It took me awhile but I feel good about the decision to go sly now.
