I wish i could just be hypnotized into shaving my head bald would make things a hell of alot easier!
If only ...
anyone else wish the same thing?

But seriously, if you have to get hypnotized to do it maybe it's not the right time.

I'm going to help you with this AND save you some money. Now listen closely..........
Walk into your bathroom and place your razor and shave cream on the sink.
Look at youself intently in the mirror.
Relax.
Repeat these words to yourself: "I'll look great SLY. Worrying over hair is stupid. Hair loss is NOT a tsunami."
Repeat those words a little more quietly..............
Repeat those words at a whisper....................
Relax.............
Now listen to me while you remain relaxed.
When I snap my fingers you will look in the mirror and smile at the thought of how great you will look SLY.
You will then pick up your shave cream and razor and shave your head while singing "I Can See Clearly Now the Rain is Gone".
When you finish you will smile at the glory and beauty that IS your new SLY self.

I guess this is why tattoo parlors insist on customers being sober when they get inked. My contention remains that if the decision to sly or not to sly causes that much tension then it might be best to wait and see. But while you're waiting try to determine what the cause of the tension is, whether you, yourself, have a hang-up about sly and what you need to do with regard to that or whether you are apprehensive about the reaction you will get from others.
This brings to mind an old saying in men's psychotherapy circles having to do with the only 2 questions a man must ask himself:
1) Where am I going? and
2) Who is going with me?
And God help you if you get them in the wrong order.

You can not legally give consent while under the influence, which puts the shop in jeopardy so if you sign a waiver it isn't legal. It also thins the blood preventing the ink from "sticking" as well too.

Hey, don't rely on a crutch like hypnosis, eventhough I am pretty sure you are just joking. Being sly is all about confidence. You have seen enough guys on here happy with the transition. Square your shoulders and just do it...do it for you. You won't regre it.
