Title: 'Bad' Days?
Post by: Spog on January 07, 2011, 12:15:29 PM
I shave every day and have done for months, now.
Nothing in my routine has changed at all - jump in the shower, St. Ives scrub, bit of oil, Headslick and Mach 3 Turbo. Job done. Smooth as hell. Change my blade once every 4/5 days.
The last 3 nights, however, have been awful. Tuesday night was a new blade and felt like using a rusty, jagged piece of glass. Cut myself to bits. Put it down to a one-off. Wednesday & Thursday were just as bad.
Can't understand it and am actually a bit wary about shaving tonight - might just leave it til Sunday.
Pretty sure I haven't got any sort of skin infection, and the blades I buy are from a proper outlet and are not some fakes.
Anyone ever had a similar experience?

Only once. In my case, it turned to be a bad blade.

I agree; every once in a while you will run across a bad blade.  Ditch it and try a new one.  Give your scalp a day or two to heal if necessary.

I once got a pack of bad blades.  Unfortunately I didn't figure it out until the 3rd blade.
