Title: Using a shaving brush and wetting your head

Have started using a shaving brush and cream,and I get a thin layer of cream,using a synthetic brush,even though I stir the cream in a cup,and get a nice lather there.
Should I wet my face and head,like when using a gel?(haven't done so by now)

Sure you still have to wet your head, this will soften the hairs  for easier shaving.Just the use of brush and cream is not good enough.That is if you want the best shave.
