Just wanted to thank everyone for the great information available on this site. I've been thinning since they shaved my head in Marine Corps boot camp 15 years ago. It got to the point about a year ago that I was tired of looking like an idiot so I shaved my head. The wife was NOT happy and talked me into growing it back after a few weeks. Lately I've been wanting to shave again, but decided to work on her first. This forum is what finally put her over the top. You all saved me hours of a ticked off wife. As I write this, I do so happily with a fresh shaved head.

My question now, is why didn't I do this while I was still in the Marines? My hair grows quickly, and I hate to think how much I spent on 2 high regs each week. The whole hair thing seems like a big scam to me, and I'm glad to have escaped it.
