Hey,been a while since I've posted here.Im still rocking the bald look but having a little bit of a dilemma.Recently I've been growing my beard out longer (at a months growth right now).I have a very important meeting tomorrow with the head of an dental academic program at the school I wish to attend to continue on.It's a VERY competitive program and I'm wondering if you think my current look will be acceptable for this program.I REALLY DO NOT want to trim or shave the beard, but am worrying if it'll hurt my chance on my first impression with teh head of the program.I'm jsut afraid I may look too intimidating or unprofessional.I mean,my beard is very precisely edged and isn't messy by any means.Heres some pics from today. Thanks in advance!

I don't think it's intimidating or unprofessional at all. If you meet the qualifications for the program, I don't think the beard will be a factor at all. Remember the academic world is generally a bit more open to variety as far as personal appearance is concerned; I imagine that holds true for dental school as well.
Pretty impressive growth for just a month. A lot of guys would kill to be able to grow a beard that quickly.
Just go in there and be confident and you'll be fine. Be sure to let us know how you make out.

Great looking beard looks fine, leave it as is. O0

It is a good look for you and shouldn't be a detriment. Good luck!

The beard to me looks a bit lost, like its sort of floating on your face/head somehow. It may be that it stops abruptly at your ears and should be tapered a bit rather than just squared off and stopping at your ear level. Maybe cut it on an angle rather than the hard square edge top at your ears.
-
it looks good but like chgo above i would suggest an angle at the top instead of the 90 degree corners.

Razor would be talking about me. I think it looks great too, but the advice on angling it might make it blend a little better. I would caution to be careful because you would hate to ruin what you have. Maybe you could try doing that after your meeting. I'm jealous. Oh, and good luck!

This, haha.
The beard looks great, but I too think it would look better with tapered sideburns.

I agree. You need a bit of a taper. The beard stops too abruptly.
-
If it were me I would either trim it down quite a bit or shave it off. But like others have said, they will be looking at your qualifications and personality so I don't think it matters that much.

great look...be conservative (if u need be) on your approach.

It's fine as is.

You look great and VERY acceptable - -nothing to worry about - - -If they do not like you, there is something wrong with them
-
You rock the look either way... O0

I honestly do not think you will be judged by the beard.....I think you will be judged by what is inside the skull, work ethic, and personality. Good luck, brother! O0

Just smile a lot! O0

I like the beard, but it could be trimmed and the look of hair just on your chin is much better, very handsome.
-
My opinion: no taper. I like it as is.
-
If you qualify, the looks won't matter. Having said that: I think you look just fine.
-
I personally think it looks great - the beard that is. I don't think that it looks unprofessional or intimidating.
-
That's one great looking beard, I hope you didn't carve it or cut it off. Remember, employers are looking for what's in your head, not what is on it. How you present your abilities and dress are far more important. It will be interesting to see how it develops. Good work.

Seriously bro, it's one of the coolest beard I have ever seen. Keep it !

OK, Chill...
...Don't keep us in "suspenders"... ...What did you decide to do, and how did it work out!
