Hmm I was 9 ... not sure if I was allowed to watch that show ("Disco '72") back then, but I've seen reruns of it.
That certainly was a huge hit over here.

Man that song sucks! I vaguely remember it. I hated most 70's music.... Disco??? Really?? Not America's finest hour......
