Dudes and Dudettes,
Yer not gonna believe this, but here I am--just a few minutes ago--posting in M.Babe's Easter thread about me playing a Roman soldier in an Easter pageant, and I get this email from a casting director here in Denver with a script attached and her asking me to come to a casting call.
Here's the deal....last night I'm online about 1:00am...just dinkin' around online and came across this casting call for a 40-something-year-old male actor to play a father of a suburban family that is falling apart. It's a Sci Fi/Drama short indie flick.
I sorta chuckled and shot off an email with a couple of those knucklehead avatar poses you've all seen saying, "Don't know if bald works for the part yer after....if so call/or email me"
I'll be damned if the casting director doesn't send me a script and wants me to be on the set Saturday mornin'
This doesn't mean that I have the part....but pretty Trippy, huh?

Heck, if we can't get celebrities to come to Sly Bald Guys, we'll just have Sly Bald Guys become celebrities...LOL 8)

Have you not heard that expression over there?.....It means "I'll be cheering for ya" or "I'm in yer corner, man"
or did you know this and yer just being...how you say....."cheeky" 8)

Had a surprisingly good audition this morning. The director and producer liked what I brought to the script.
They did a couple different variations of the same scene to see how I took guidance from the director.
They said they would "definitely" be getting back to me.....
It's not in the bag yet, but they did like the robmeister. O0

Well, they passed up the Robmeister for a more spindly, pocket-protector, business stuffed shirt type.
They liked my acting and said they would keep my profile if they ever need a tough guy, bouncer, thug, biker type :*)) ;D
It was a cool experience and they were all really cool to work with.
