I'm stoked, just got a call from my balloon pilot buddy and he plans to fly on Saturday morning. Then my daughter has a Tee-Ball game at 11 on Saturday. Sunday morning we're going to my mother-in-law's house then that afternoon to my mom's house.

Leaving Friday to go to Florida for a week. I thought spring was starting last week here in MN, but last night we got 2 inches of snow and temps are back in the 20s.

ps.
Sorry I've been absent, I've been doing a lot of traveling for work lately.

Church Sunday morning and Easter Egg hunting/hiding at our house that afternoon.  If the weather is nice, I might nuke some burgers.  Stop by, I'll make extras.

Pretty mellow here.  Church in the morning and then dinner at my parents with the whole family. That means twenty five of us and thats just brother, sisters, and the kids.  Supposed to be 38 degrees and possible snow so the Bunny could freeze his tail off.

Work on the jeep Saturday, dinner with friends on Sunday, sorry, I don't do church, especially at sunrise.   >:D

I was supposed to go 4Wheeling Saturday, but the Tee-Ball game postponed that adventure. I'd rather go ballooning and to the ball game then. I don't know if Mater could handle the inaugural wheeling trip. Have a feeling I would be gettin pulled out of many a sticky situation.

Ha Ha!  I'm going to spend Saturday making "dump runs" cleaning up the back yard, tree branches etc.

Sunday we'll celebrate the Lord's resurrection then probably go out to fight the crowds to have lunch!

SPEAKING OF EASTER...

The Robmeister played a Roman Soldier in our church's Easter pageant that played last Friday & Saturday.

The SLY BEAN was very fitting for the role.

Ah Easter ... the most holy of Sundays:

1.  Up and at the church for a 7 AM Sunrise service - remember to carry the Krispy Cremes and a heavy coat  (suppose to be 30 degrees F) - and our church overlooks a lake, and is on a hill - can you say cold?

2.  East breakfast at the church.

3.  10:00 for Sunday School, then 11:00 Worship.  Sing all those great old hymns

4.  Family Lunch at Mom's.

5.  Church egg hunt ... carry the nephew.

6.  Home and crash.

Have a happy Easter - and don't eat too many eggs.

PS:  Is anyone else finding a shortage of candy eggs?  Wal-Mart (everyone we went too) is out - and that was last week.  They claim they could not get them from suppliers

We're going to an Easter play at our church on Friday, then we have plans with our friends on Saturday night.  On Sunday my family is driving down and we're going to all spend Easter with my wife's family so that my wife and I can share some big news with them.

PigPen, I'm with you as far as the chiles go. Chile & jack cheese on a burger. I don't care who you are, that's good eatin' right thar! O0

As far as Easter goes, we're not a deeply religious family (and not ashmed of it either). We do an easter egg hunt for the kids. We also do a scavenger hunt around the house. Each item the kids find has a letter and once all items are found, the kids have to spell a word to find out where a little gift is hidden around the house.

Wife & kids are heading to Tahoe with another family for a few days beginning tomorrow (last snowmobiling trip of the year). I'm going up for the afternoon then coming back to work and register the kids for soccer. I'm actually coaching my daughter's team this year. should be fun.

Hmmm,

Tyler, either you won the Lottery or there will be some bald little Tylers or Tylerettes running around!  KEWL O0

Anyway, I will be going to church and taking my stepmom.  Then we will meet my stepbrother and family for a dinner at Outback Steakhouse.  But I will continue my weight loss.  I notice that I can get away with an occasional splurge when I exercise!

Also to Robmeister, that is most appropriate that you played a Roman Soldier.  A few years ago, when my church met in a closed movie theater, we had a play too.  One of the other chromedomes in the congregation played a soldier too!

In San Antoinio, New Mexico, little place called the Owl Bar.  Best green chile hamburgers I've ever had.  Made a point to take the wife and kids there our last trip out.

I'm with ya on the cocktails and the bloomin' onion MBabe, but their steaks are just OK. Maybe they're better in the UK than here in the US, but when I go to an Outback, I'll usually have the chicken...their ribs aren't bad either.

That would be a haul.

Have a three egg omelete somewhere and ask the cook to hide an airport bottle of Capt'n Morgan's in it. There, you've got your Easter Sunday dialed in!

Damn, I'm good!

We'll be driving over to go to church where we used to go before we moved out of town a year ago. Then over to my mom's. This will be the first Easter since my dad died (last October). They would have been married 66 years this month. We will have dinner there with my sisters and mother-in-law. Our son is working and daughter and her husband are out of town. Pretty low key for us this year.

Really?  this place was a little known family owned joint when I was a kid, last April we visited, didn't look like it had changed in 20 years.

I want to move back to NM.   :'(

I went to my cousin's 40th anniversary/family reunion in Lone Rock Saskatchewan.  It was a blast.  I met relatives that I had no idea even existed.  Much fun was had by me.  My older brother, sister, brother-in-law and 2 neices and myself threw a band together and played for the event.
