A couple weeks back I posted asking for Prayers for my Friend Neil Shriner who was in a horrible motorcycle accident on Saturday July 24th. Neil's condition was extremely critical at the time.
Many of you guys offered Prayers ..... to which both I and the Family are grateful.
Unfortunately Neil passed away this past Saturday morning at approximately 11 AM. He fought for his life, until his very last breath, for those two weeks. The doctors said he should never have lived for two hours after the accident. He died exactly two weeks after the accident... almost to the minute.
Neil and I were Friends but Neil's brother Terrry and I are best Friends. The grief for Neil's Family is nearly unbearable. My heart aches for Neil's wife Stacy and their two boys Colton and Aaron.
Neil is Home now and his soul is surely at Peace......... I ask for continued Prayers for the entire Shriner Family but particularly for Neil's two young boys.
I also ask that you Pray for the man that caused this horrible accident. I can only imagine that his own Family is grieving and in turmoil...... they will also never be the same.
Peace my Brothers.... hold those that you Love a little tighter this evening.

Sorry that the man didn't make it. Words seem so feeble at times like this. A book, a play, a movie all start, progress and end, and often we are upset when they end we've enjoyed them so much. A man's life is somewhat like that and provided the life is long, although we mourn the death, it's entirely different when it is cut short. The man's story is uncomplete somehow and will never be finished. Death is always so close, yet we delude ourselves into pushing the thought of it away. Perhaps your friend's gift is reminding all his friends, and, through you, all of us to cherish life.
