Title: New member of the 30 Day Alumni
Post by: Kojak on August 06, 2010, 01:17:01 AM: I made it! I have shaved everyday and collected enough knowledge and experience to get some really awesome BBS shaves! I have evened out the skin color between my face and Sly dome. I'm no longer getting any razor burns or bumps either!

It was a rough start but things are really good now. I have also changed my face shaving method and have moved into the world of Wet shaving using a double edge blade with a vintage Gillette Adjustable safety razor. My new razor is a 63' model, it is older then me and looks like new.

One question: Does using the brush make it so you use less shaving creame? Or what is the purpose of it? I've never used one, but hear lots of people talk about them so I always wonderd.

The brush feels wonderful and defiantly extends your product. If you are using for example HeadSlick and applying it with your hand, it doesn't lather up like it does with a brush. I would guess that you could use one half to one third less product with the brush. It helps to lift the hair is the second benefit.
