Shaved it all off for the first time a few days ago. I'll probably do everything wrong at first - like doing it in the middle of the summer - I have some serious tan lines haha.. Looks good though! All I have for now is a before picture. Heading to a pool party today so hopefully that will even out the color a bit. Is there a way to add before and after pictures on here?

Welcome TomKat!
Great to have on SBG! O0
There's a Before and After section in the Gallery where you can put your pictures.
Or you can upload them to a hosting site and add the links to your post.

Thanks!
Just shaved after 3 days so it would be smooth before the party. I have maybe 20-30 red bumps that were not there after my first shave. I suspect this is typical and my skin just needs to get used to shaving? I'm using a regular mach-3 razor (new blade) and have been using an electric the past few days.
Cut the heck out of myself today too! lol Going to drop by walgreens and get one of those anti-bleed pencil things they have.

Welcome Tom... yeah, red bumps at first are something a lot of first time shavers experience. Use an exfoliant before your shave and try not to use an oily scalp conditioner after the shave. I use ClearHead from HeadBlade but some say Witch Hazel... then I use Bald Guyz Moisture Gel. I like the way it's not greasy. O:O

Welcome Tom, congratulations, at the pool party, don't forget the sunblock, also for the red bumps, I like to use witch hazel, now I tried corn huskers lotion, it worked great. O0

Thanks for the tips guys. I'd done some reading up on exfoliating and other topix and thought you might say that. Just using edge shaving gel and irish spring soap until I go out and get the proper tools.
The bumps mostly went away on their own after about 20mins and are almost gone now. Trying hard to get rid of tan lines so didn't use block for 20mins then lathered up and wore a hat, on, off the rest of the day. No sunburn!
My lady friends loved it. Two I didn't know came on strong. One, I'd known for a long time didn't seem to like it as a permanent thing. She said I was "brave" haha. She's a lesbian too so I don't give her much credence in this area haha.
Showering and heading to the after party then bars for some more sly fun!
Been curious. What does 'sly' mean anyway? Some sort of acronym? I have SBG figured out by not sly.
Thanks again!

Welcome to the site bro. SLY is more an attitude than anything...it means whatever you want it to mean as long as you're cool with it and have the SLY attitude!! 8)
(in other words, no one really knows what it means, but we all know what it DOESNT mean!) O0
