Friends.............. yesterday at approximately 12 PM my Friend Neil Shriner was in a serious motorcycle accident. A van had stopped to make a left turn. As Neil approched from the other direction, a car traveling up from behind the van, hit the van in the rear while going abot 60 MPH and pushed the van into Neil's lane where it then hit him.
Neil was thrown about 40 feet through the air and landed in a small patch of grass in front of a bar. Neil's left leg was nearly severed and he was bleeding fprofusely from his femoral artery. Only due to the fact that the two bartenders heard the crash, ran out, and immediately put a make shift tourniquet on his upper leg did he live.
Yesterday afternoon Neil's entire left leg was amputated. His pelvis is broken, liver injured, and this AM he still has an internal bleed that they are trying to find and stop.
I ask that you PLEASE pray for Neil, his wife Stacy, and their two boys Aaron and Colton. Please also keep their extended Family in your Prayers. I know most of these folks and they are good, hard working people.
Neil is not out of danger yet and could still die.
