I have always been a New York Yankees fan and I have always worn a Yankees ball cap. I wore my Yankees cap even when I live in Boston for 4 years which caused several confrontations 2 of which turned physical, and that was not good for the injured Red Sox fans that started it. lol
I have worn my cap always and have many photographs throughout the years of me sporting my NYY caps. I didn't start losing the hair on my crown until my mid to late 30's so I was not wearing caps to cover up. I have many wool fitted caps from the years that the Yankees have won the World Series and just cheap old everyday caps that I wear to cover morning hair to go to the store without having to do my hair.
Now that I have gone Sly I don't like wearing a cap, but I want to. I don't like the way it feels with stubble, because I like my hat to fit somewhat tight. I don't like the way it looks with a Sly dome either. The only time that I like to wear a hat now is when I workout, and I have to wear it loose and I wear it to trap sweat because I don't have hair to prevent all the sweat from dripping into my eyes.
I miss wearing my New York Yankees caps! I'm hoping as my scalp gets more used to being Sly, so that it will change the way a cap feels on my head.

None of my hats fit the right way anymore. I like them tight as well and all my ball caps are fitted - no hair=loose fit

I still wear hats a lot. I would say about half the time I go out I wear my White Sox fitted hat. Usually I wear a 7 1/4 and it would fit perfectly but now that I shaved my head I have to soak it in hot water for a couple seconds then throw it in the dryer. It comes out perfect for me every time.

Baseball cap fine.
NYY cap bad (Red Sux fan just as bad).

Carefully crafted and heavily sprayed combovers don't work w/ hats, so I never got too much into hats. Now, I can but I don't like the feel of most hats--they are for the most part rough, and they make my dome sweat--not nice. Only wear them when I'm in the sun for a long time. I own some, the Saints' Superbowl, and the like--just don't like the feel. Beanies in the winter work, except they slip up on a freshly scraped grape.

Switch to a Cardinals cap and you should be fine. O0 But seriously, I have quit wearing wool caps. I tend to get cotton caps from these guys. http://www.nineteen47.com/ (http://www.nineteen47.com/)

Go Yankees!

I've worn a BB cap of sorts for years -- OK decades. The one below might give you an idea of the type and style.
But
The St. Louis Cardinal cap that has just the single Cardinal on the bat, is pretty cool, but when I don't wear the one below, I have a wool Cleveland Indians cap that I like. I'm not an Indians fan, but I think the cap is the best one in all of baseball. Nothing says Cleveland Indians more than that cap.
Yes, I have a Yankees cap too, but I only wear it around here to P - - - people off, and maybe confuse them a little.

I used to wear baseball caps a lot.... but now I hate baseball caps almost as much as I hate the Yankees. ;)

Try a White Sox hat and your problems will go away... O0

Nice tip, I have not even tried my fitted caps yet, I mostly wear my relaxed fit adjustable caps.

I knew I would find the Yankees haters, lol.

You should take a trip to Boston and wear the Yankees cap around, talk about piss some people off! I did that for 4 years, lol.

I have a White Sox cap!
The point isn't the team in the original post :) The feel of a cap on stubble doesn't agree with me yet and because I like to wear them tight it isn't so nice when you take the cap off and pull it ATG, ouch.

I hear ya. Now that I am sly, baseball caps are not my first choice in hats. The fit is clearly different. Given the choice, I'd prefer to go without a hat.
As far as teams go, both the Spankees and Red Sux are despised, probably a bit of jealousy because of their payrolls. Spare me the "they play within the rules". I totally get that and I have the utmost respect for Steinbrenner (RIP). All he did was want to win. He was an incredible owner. For that, if I had to pick one team I despised more, it'd be the Red Sux, their fans are just plain rude.
On the flipside, the owner of my beloved A's (Lewis Wolff), has an even higher net worth than Steinbrenner. Yet, he chooses not to spend. It's frustrating but hopefully, they'll be able to make a move to San Jose where more revenue could be generated.
Rush Limbaugh had a great quote on Steinbrenner. He said "Steinbrenner was the ultimate capitalist. He even knew that dying in 2010 would be better than 2011 because the tax rates are going to kill him next year" (or words to that effect). Classic. O0
I'll be wearing my A's hat when I'm golfing today.

I love my baseball caps, but am now having a bad time getting them to feel comfortable---I love being SLY more, though, so I hardly wear one. Found a great wide brim straw hat with the SAINTS bandana/logo on it....fits fantastic, doesn't look idiotic--I hope--and keeps me in the shade when I am on the ole 4 wheeler out in the sun.
I really prefer wearing nothing on the noggin, anymore. The sun down here in dixie will KILL you without one, though!
PS.....Saints, NY Giants, and Ole Miss Rebel hats sem to fit a lot nicer than any others!! LOL.
