Hey everyone, newbie here.
So after getting shorter and shorter i decided to shave it all today.
I went over with a Gillette Fusion and it felt quite good actually ^-^
But, looking in the mirror now i can still see those little "spots" of hair on my head.
When i run my hand over my head it feels smooth, its all skin like.
But it still looks like im not completely bald you know.
Is it because of my hair colour, i do have really dark hair and can see the very
tips of the hairs on my scalp. So is it a colour problem..

"Welcome" And, there are a lot of suggestions on technique here too. Remember, you didn't run a mile when you first took a step, and in a like fashion, although you'll always remember the first,"Scrape of the Grape" you'll learn the ins and outs of your head quickly.

Welcome! And yes it is a color problem. Dark hair and (I'm assuming) light skin means a shadow. It's very common. Short of painful laser, plucking, or waxing, there is no cure. After you get some sun on your melon it will tone down some. I'm really looking forward to going gray! ;D

Welcome aboard!
I'm guessing maybe you still might need some sun on your scalp? That might help if you do. Sounds to me like you're doing everything just fine. O0

Welcome!
The shadow is always a surprise. You will get used to it. It's just part of the deal. I guess you're having a beard shadow as well if you're shaving your face.
Some tan and a nice shine on the noggin can help to make it less noticeable.

It is the shadow which we all have - - - and it becomes less when you get a tan and also as you start getting gray - - -it becomes less and less
I am gray so you see very little of the fringe unless I skip shaving for a few days - - - - -

Welcome to the Forum! A little color on that freshly shaved dome will make a big difference. There's not much you can do about that shadow from your dark hair... but guess what.... It doesn't matter!!!!!
-
Oh, and remember, the shadow continues to get smaller even w/o gray, as mpb continues. Except now you, like me and a lot of the guys, begin to wonder if the mpb has stopped or slowed down. :D

My guess is dark hair, pale skin. Work on tanning your scalp and those "spots" will become much less evident
-
The shadow is no big deal, and like Mike said, it doesn't matter.
I actually like it, and it tells me I will be shaving again tomorrow, or whenever I choose to.
Get some gradual sun and it will be much less noticeable.

Will tanning creams help?
