For all you hackers out there..... at 12:30 PM eastern time today I'll be making the three hour drive from work to Ocean City Maryland for a long weekend of golf.
I'll be playing for three solid days along with 5 other guys. I'm really looking forward to this and the weather forecast thru Sunday is top notch.
I should be enjoying my first Guinness of the weekend at aproximately 4 PM eastern time.

I was trying to wrangle tix to the US Open about an hour from my house, but no luck!

Well I made it back in one piece.
Friday and Saturday I hacked the courses up. Friday was only the third time I've played in a year so I expected the worst. Saturday I played nearly as bad but I was working on getting my swing straaightened out (no small chore!).
Yesterday I FINALLY hit the ball good. Mid 90's score, not great I know, but not bad for a guy that's only played a few times in the last year. The greens were tough and I probably lost 1/2 dozen strokes putting.
Many beers were consumed (oh Saturday AM was VERY, VERY rough)......... great weather and great company.
I'm sure glad to be back home though.......
