Title: Making Blades Last
Post by: RoachX on March 25, 2007, 11:02:58 PM
I was just checking out that stuff on cryogenic processed blades and was wondering if there was anything i could do at home to make my razor blades last longer?

Some guys have said that they place their blades in mineral oil to get the blades to last longer.  Here's a topic on it: http://www.slybaldguys.com/smf/index.php?topic=266.0 (http://www.slybaldguys.com/smf/index.php?topic=266.0)

RoachX, I use a product called Remington Shaver Saver on my blades after each shave.  Simply dry your blade then spray on.  A little goes a long way and a can of it seems to last forever.  It is intended to be used on electric shavers but has, IMO, greatly extended the life of my blades.  I get at least 14 head shaves from a Fusion cartridge.
