Title: Aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrghhh
Post by: Layokk on May 10, 2010, 05:49:51 PM
Buzzed my head last Thursday for the first time. It was *cold* yesterday (in the 40s) and my wife, son, and I went to the park for about an hour. My head felt funny this morning and was really tender in the shower.  As the day went on, I realized that I had burned the crap out of it! OUCH

Make that two of us!  Sorry about the sun burn.  I did the same thing right before Easter.  Make sure you keep lotion on it.

I burnt mine one time.  That's all it takes.  We were on a camping trip in the early spring.  The weather was cool and it didn't even occur to me to sunscreen the head that early in the season.  Won't make that mistake again.

Try some BaldGuyz Moisturizing Gel.  Works wonders!

Two things should always been within your reach. Sunscreen with a minimum 30 SPF and some sort of protective hat. In my work I am outside most of the day so both these items are a MUST.

LOL I just realized there is someone named Aaaargh.  And GAslick, you're completely correct. One time is all it will take for me.  Especially since I will be going full sly very shortly (I hate the way my hair "catches" on my pillow at night)

Fully smooth makes it easier to apply and reapply sunscreen too!

Ouch.... it definitely only takes once.  I had my head "shedding" dead skin one summer after a day on the lake with little-to-no sunblock, and I'll never let that happen again.

HeadBlade has two SPF products, an SPF30 Lotion:

and HeadShade, an SPF15 oil-free spray:
