A cancer charity ought to organize a St. Baldricks type of event and ask him to be the spokesman for it.  It would raise a lot of money for cancer research and give the poor guy the cover he needs to do what must be done.

Uhhh... does anyone else find that article absurd?

"If you shave your head, are you being brave and modern and admitting the thatch is gone? Or are you a vain nancy boy who actually isn't brave enough to live with the reality of masculinity?

What's the courageous choice?
What's the masculine choice?"

So... the author is conflating vanity with "nancy boys" (read: gay people) with not being "brave enough to live with the reality of masculinity." And explicitly opposing this to courage and masculinity. Wow.

Also, what's with the paranoia in the jeans story? OMG... I accidentally wore women's jeans (which apparently must not look that much different from men's jeans anyway)! What if people think i'm gay... wait, what if i AM gay now?!?!?!?! Seriously? Seriously. Who would really think that?

"And people would notice, but they wouldn't say anything because they'd think I was some kind of cross-dresser, or incredibly vain and convinced that my arse only looked good in bootleg jeans, or maybe that I was gay and didn't even know it myself.

"Or maybe I really would be gay. Maybe it would mean that fundamentally I was kind of - gay, even though I didn't know it, and didn't believe it. I'd just want to wear women's jeans. And they would fit me."

It's almost like the article should be a joke... but it's not (I think? I hope i'm wrong...).

We all know male pattern baldness (as well as the round-spot tonsure syndrome that William Wales is suffering) is evidence of raging testosterone and all-round manliness.

Yeah, she knows stuff.  :x!

The dude really does need to shave.  I believe he's still in his mid-late twenties, but he looks very much older.  He's a handsome guy, but the hair just makes him look OLD.  I think the British press would applaud him.

At the very least he needs to buzz it really short.  He'd look a lot better and it would probably put a stop to all the snarky comments in the press.

He's probably thinking a nice crown will cover the bald--it's an unusual and really expensive solution, also heavy.  But, there probably is a crown in his future.  Although, if his dad persists in the name Charles if and when QEII dies, it hasn't, as a name, been too successful.  I think people would always think of CI and CII--and that beheading business too. >:D

Some women think that bald guys are sexier than those guys with long hairs.
Bald guys looks clean whereas long haired ones look untidy. ::)
