Hi, everybody.
I need a favor. The rescue group I volunteer for, Wheatens In Need, is in the middle of an annual fundraising project. Each year we hold a contest in which people send in photos of their dogs and then people vote for a "Grand Marshall" to lead a virtual parade.
Before I go any further, I'm NOT asking anyone for any money ......
Anyone can cast one free vote for the dog of his/her choice by sending an email to wheaten68-parade@yahoo.com. Your address will NOT be put on a list or given or sold to anyone -- it is actually my address; I count the votes and no one else will ever see it.
I'd like to ask everyone to please take a moment and cast one free vote for a dog named Misti. She has inoperable cancer and her owner is devastated. I'm hoping that Misti will win to lift her mom's spirits a bit. She is currently in the lead but things can change at any moment. Here's a link to Misti's photo (feel free to look at all the photos of our other contestants while you are there):

Voting ends at midnight on Saturday. If you can spare a moment to send a quick email, please cast a free vote for Misti. Once again, the address is wheaten68-parade@yahoo.com.
Thanks.

Hey bro, I just voted for Misti. I hope I did it right. I just clicked on the e-mail address you had provided and put "voting for Misti" in the subject block. Then I wrote a quick message that stated I was voting for Misti for the upcoming dog parade. Good luck. O0

Damn I missed this whole thread, I would've voted for her for sure... I know what it is like to lose a best furry friend to cancer. Oh well glad to hear she won and good on you RazorX for helping to raise support for your friend... O:O
