Title: Have any of you guys stateside met Aleksandr?

Was just wondering if you guys stateside have the pleasure of meeting Aleksandr Orlov. He is the star of one of our TV commercials for a car insurance comparison website. It has been a total success here with t-shirts etc being sold with Aleksandr on them. Have attached a link for you to see his 2 latest adventures. I think he is great which really shows that the Scottish Ambassador is still a big kid inside. Let me know if you think he is as cool as i do.

Pretty cool!  You have the meerkat and we have the Geico Insurance Co. Lizard with the Australian accent.

I am a big Alexandr fan also, or more the genius behind the advertising, very memorable!  I bet they have a lot of fun dreaming up the ideas for the next ad.  As for their main competitor, I hate that 'Go Compare' one.  My two year old started singing it the other day.  Thankfully she has no need for a comparison website!

Agreed! Go Compare is awful!
