......around christmas time i was about 225 pounds. just got off the scale a minute ago and i am at 205!!!! basically all i have done was startt drinking diet soda instead of regular. leslie has been working really hard to get her blood sugar under control. i told her i would eat healthier with her and i have. but all i am doing there is eating less. my goal is around 190. i will keep you guys updated.

Good for you, Paul!
I have been trying to lose weight forever now and can't seem to lose it. I drink diet soda (have been cutting down on that too) sometimes and TRY and drink a lot of water. I also exercise almost every day. Can't lose one dang pound though.
I think I have some sort of sleep walking disorder that makes me raid the fridge at night or something!

Maybe I should start drinking soda... believe it or not, I want to put on (or at least keep) a few extra pounds around the middle...

You guys have got to put a warning on these posts, that almost lost my breakfast ;D. Seriously, good work, keeping Dunlop's Disease* at bay is tough, and it can become Furniture Movers' Disease** very quickly.

update! hit 200 today. going to the doctor tomorrow and will know for sure if my home scale is accurate.

home scale is pretty much right on with the doctor's. so i am still at 200. but happy about it. weekend is over and it is now time to quit being lazy. only need about 10-15 more pounds.

weight loss indeed makes one feel better, im going thru weight loss as well, im at the lightest ive weighed in about 11 years, i quit smoking in 1997, i was a 3 pack a day smoker, either lucky strikes non filtered, camel non filtered, and chesterfield kings non filtered, in august of 2008, i was over 340 pounds, now iam under 250

my goal is 185 as well, my goal is to reach 185 by July 27th 2012, the day of the opening cerimonies of the london olympics, i started losing weight on august 24th 2008, the day of the closing cerimonies of the beijing olympics, one thing that i know is that i will never smoke another cigerette again, i feel that i gained that weight becuse those cigs are an appitite suppresant, and i pigged out whenever i got the urge to smoke, it will be 13 years since i quit smoking on june 3rd, the last time i smoked a cigrette was on june 3rd 1997.

great news, i have lost 5 pounds last month, so with the weather up here getting nicer, iam doing more bike rides down either US 34 or US 36 from Estes Park, it is a 2500 foot elevation drop in 30-35 miles , once i hit 200, i will start biking up US 34 to Estes Park, then bike down US 36 thru Lyons then back to Loveland some think that iam crazy for biking up to and down Estes Park, but i love the scenery, but i prefer living in Loveland, it is colder winters in Estes Park, during winter i only go up to Estes Park to snowshoe in Rocky Mountain National Park.
